Nelson Wilians Institute and NWADV promote Mock Jury with CEAP
Nowadays, it is very common for companies to encourage and support corporate volunteering programs. Some of these actions have the main objective of bringing everyday realities closer to young people.
This week, the Nelson Wilians Institute was invited to serve on a mock jury, together with partners and associate lawyers from NWADV, for 20 CEAP students.
In the dynamic, the team of volunteer professionals from NWADV was divided into 3 groups: the defense and the prosecution worked with the young people in the study of a fictitious case. The third team was responsible for the trial, which involved everyday topics such as racism, criminal majority, suicide prevention, bullying, interpersonal relationships at school, in the family and in society, as well as the elucidation of codes of ethics that favor social coexistence in a fair and equitable manner.
